HomeEd Made Simple
Privacy notice
How HomeEd Made Simple handles information from parents and carers. Last updated: 5 September 2026.
Who we are
HomeEd Made Simple is the data controller for information collected through this website. This service is intended for adults. Please do not send us children’s names, contact details, health information or other personal information. Contact us at homeedmadesimpleuk@gmail.com or through our contact page.
What we collect
- Your email address, chosen resource age band, consent status and relevant timestamps when you request a free pack.
- Your name, email address and message when you contact us.
- Your adult role, selected service interest, and optional town, county or professional information when you join a community, meet-up or tutor interest list.
- Limited technical logs needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.
Why we use it
We use your details to provide the resource you request and, where you have actively consented, to send occasional learning ideas and offers. Consent is our lawful basis for marketing emails, and you may withdraw it at any time. We use contact and interest-list information to reply to enquiries, understand demand by area and plan relevant future services, relying on consent, legitimate interests or steps requested before a possible purchase as appropriate.
Sharing and international transfers
Information is handled by suppliers that help host and operate this website. We do not sell your information. Mailchimp email automation is not yet connected; before subscriber information is transferred to an email provider, this notice will be updated with the relevant supplier and transfer safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as needed for these purposes. Marketing records are kept while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we may retain the minimum suppression record needed to respect your choice. Enquiries are reviewed and removed when no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information, object to its use, and withdraw consent. Use our contact form to make a request. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies
We do not currently use non-essential advertising or analytics cookies. Essential technology and limited server logs may be used to deliver and protect the site. We will update this notice before introducing optional tracking.
